About Us

What we do

Mollydoo was established in March 2015 and is a new and exciting online cycling holiday brand delivering a personal and bespoke cycling service for cyclists of all abilities. We specialise in providing a personal and bespoke service as well as all-inclusive flexible cycling holidays and training camps for individuals and groups.

We take the stress out of your trip by organising and providing everything, including ground arrangements, flights and accommodation. Whether you want to explore new destinations or you have a set of specific goals to improve your endurance, skills and fitness, we can tailor a unique experience together for you and a group, or you can just take one of our carefully designed all-inclusive packages.

Our Ethos

Mollydoo is a privately owned family business; we have complete control and flexibility over the direction of our company. This means we can concentrate 100% on what we set out to achieve; total customer satisfaction and excellent personal service without any compromise. This is the cornerstone of our business and one that we will continue to build on.

How are we different?

We at Mollydoo recognise that we need to provide a different experience for our customers. We understand it’s not just about the riding itself; it’s about the whole customer experience. From the moment you start researching, to the point at which you book your trip and arrive at your destination. We want to ensure our customers only have to focus on the cycling; the thing they most love!

Taking this into account, we decided to make our cycling holidays "all inclusive" but as "flexible" as possible. Above all, our website has been designed with you in mind. We give you a personalised dashboard for you and the group so you can see all your information, messages, enquires and booking information at anytime, anywhere. Even when you are at your destination you can stay in touch. We are always here to help.

We have carefully chosen a unique set of partners to work with to ensure we deliver the best experience at the best price, with no compromise. We have access to flights from all UK departures, the best accommodation rates available in perfect locations; ideally situated to cater for your cycling tours.

We also have access to expert guides and coaches, some of which represented GB and even some ex Legendary Pro cyclists. With our full in-resort support you don’t have to worry about a thing, just enjoy the cycling, relax and leave the rest to us.

Peace of mind

Mollydoo is a member of the Travel Trust Association (membership number Q3795), which is a recognised travel trade organisation with over 20 years experience. We also provide fully ATOL protected cycling holidays with 100% consumer financial protection. TTA provides financial protection in the event that a member of TTA becomes insolvent. You can find more details of TTA and the protection which it provides for holidaymakers at www.traveltrust.co.uk.

Our history

So, you may be thinking, where did the name Mollydoo come from? Well, we played around with many names with "cycling" but wanted something different, personal and a bit quirky and to build a memorable brand. We have two beautiful daughters; one called Molly and the other called Daisy, nick named Daisy Doo, hence the name Mollydoo, and they are already loving the cycling at aged 8 and 10!

So, how did we get here? Well I got into cycling as part of a charity triathlon several years ago. My mum had been diagnosed with Cancer and I, like most people, wanted to raise funds for the cause. I chose Macmillan Cancer Support, and have been raising money for them ever since. I liked the idea of big endurance events and a challenge. I learned a lot, not only how to ride a bike properly, but the training and nutritional side of the sport was interesting to me too. I, like many other people, have personally done crazy events for charity; like Lands' End to John O’Groats in 59 hrs as a relay team; coast2coast2coast in 22 hours; and cycling from Ben Nevis to Snowdon, including hiking the three largest peaks of Britain. And although sometimes painful, they have been very rewarding, and above all, I have enjoyed the journey so much and met some great friends.

My wife too, has just bought her first road bike. For her, it’s not about the challenge, Sportives or endurance, but about enjoying the freedom cycling provides; appreciating the countryside and delighting in the peace and tranquillity. She has a degree in Business and Finance and has years of experience in Managing and Coordinating events worldwide. She’s the cofounder of Mollydoo and my business partner.

I have worked in travel for over 15 years, focused on delivering travel technology online solutions for top travel companies. I always wanted my own business involving something I am passionate about, cycling. So, I thought I should put the two together and start my own cycling business online.
