Ride 1: Picturesque East Coast – Warm up ride

On-Bike Statistics: 68 (Km), 1,112 (M) elevation, average riding time 3 (Hrs)

We start our week of cycling and leave the busy south resorts with a picturesque ride along the east coast of the island, which takes us through several Canarian towns and ravines.

After a short transfer, we ride from the north and follow the hugging coastline road back down to the south. You can admire some of the wild landscape of the east coast as you ride through the hairpin bends and take in views of the neighbouring Gran Canary Island.

Never leave sight of the beautiful coastline as the road follows the exciting curves and twisting bends. Climbing is part of this ride although not sustained but of course will include some thrilling descents. The ride comes to an end with a great descent back down to sea level.

Ride 2: El Teide Tour

On-Bike Statistics: 71 (Km), 1,194 (M) elevation

Today is an epic ride and a challenging one too!  We approach Teide from the west side of the island. You will start your ride from Las Americas and make your way towards Chio which is just over 700 metres, which is situated in the mountains just off the west coast.

From here we head towards the National Park on the TF38, taking in the amateur riders en route, whilst enjoying the spectacular Mount Teide that stands at over 3700 metres. The views of Spain’s highest peak from the western approach are simply spectacular! Our Teide West tour is sure live long in the memory!

Ride 3: Beautiful West Coast

On-Bike Statistics: 69 (Km), 1,573 (M) elevation, average riding 5 (Hrs)

This is the perfect finish to your week of cycling and your chance to really get off the beaten track and explore the small hidden roads and villages above the beautiful west coast of Tenerife.

You´ll ride though the vast banana plantations whilst witnessing the breath taking views of La Gomera, one of the neighbouring islands of Tenerife. This tour will showcase the amazing west coastline and will take you through Tamaimo which will provide you with some stunning scenery and views looking across to Los Gigantes, famous for the huge rock formations dominating the west coastline.

Your ride will take you as far as Santiago del Teide, the gateway to the Teno Mountains and then you will start your descent through some picturesque little treasures such as the traditional Canarian village of Vera de Erques.
